P.L. Harris is an Amazon best-selling author who writes contemporary romance, romantic suspense and young adult with a twist of mystery and intrigue. Her books are rich in storyline and location with characters that stay with you long after you turn the last page. She is a proud member of Romance Writers of Australia, Peter Cowan Writers Centre, Making Magic Happen Academy and has a Certificate in Romance Writing. P.L has published stories with Serenity Press, Blue Swan Publishing, Evernight Publishing and now publishes the majority of her books with Gumnut Press.

P.L. Harris is an award-winning author. Hidden Secrets was a finalist in the Oklahoma Romance Writers of America’s 2017 IDA International Digital Awards, young adult category. Callie’s Dilemma, also a finalist in the Virginia Romance Writers of America’s 2017 Fools of Love Contest, short contemporary romance short category.

In His Protection was a finalist in the Romance Writers of Australia Emerald Pro Award. (Due to receiving a publishing contract it had to be withdrawn from the contest). In His Protection also won first place in 2021 Daphne du Maurier Award for Excellence in Mystery/Suspense in the short romantic suspense category. P.L. Harris was a double finalist in the 2021 RWA Sapphire Award and a finalist again in the 2022 RWA Sapphire Award of which she made it to the final round.

She won silver in the 2020 ROAR! National Business Awards in the Writer/Blogger/Author category and for the second year in a row, she was a finalist in the 2021 ROAR! National Business Awards winning bronze in the Writer/Blogger/Author category with Gumnut Press taking out the gold in the Hustle and Heart category.

2022 saw P.L’s book Deadly Obsession long-listed in the Davitt Awards, a prestigious award run by the Sisters of Crime, Australia.

She lives in the northern suburbs of Perth, Western Australia, with her Bichon Frise, Bella.
